About Us
Rolling with passion, proudly Canadian-Owned and Gamer-Driven.

If you’re reading this, thank you for stopping by Crits and Counters — your support truly means the world to us.
My name is Tim, and while I grew up enjoying the usual board game classics, it wasn’t until much later that I discovered the real depth of tabletop gaming. Watching Wil Wheaton’s Tabletop on YouTube opened my eyes to the endless possibilities beyond Monopoly and Yahtzee, and from that point on, I was hooked.
My collection grew faster than I could keep up with, to the point where I now have an entire room filled with shelves of games that could rival a retail store. (Have I played them all? Let’s just say the backlog is real.)
As a father, sharing this passion with my son has only deepened my love for the hobby. That’s what inspired me — with the support of my wife — to start Crits and Counters. We wanted to create a place where gamers like us could find quality tabletop accessories at fair prices, without the inflated costs that so often get in the way of play.
Right now, our focus is on polyhedral dice, but this is only the beginning. Card sleeves, deck boxes, dice trays, tokens, counters — if it can be used at the table, we want to make it accessible.
We’re proud to be 100% Canadian owned and operated. While we do source products globally, we’re also working hard to build partnerships with Canadian makers for dice, dice towers, trays, and bags. Wherever possible, we’ll highlight items that are made in Canada, so you can choose to support local manufacturing as well as a Canadian small business.
We also want to acknowledge something important: we know there are scam sites out there selling similar products. We’re not one of them. Crits and Counters is run by real people with a genuine passion for tabletop gaming, and we welcome your questions, feedback, and even scrutiny. Your trust matters to us, and we’re committed to offering not only great products but also excellent customer service.
Thanks again for visiting our site — we can’t wait to roll some dice with you.
